JOIN THE WEB PORTAL NEXTDOOR
The City of College Station has purchased the Nextdoor web portal/private social site for all neighborhoods in College Station. It is similar to facebook as it is a social platform, but it is for neighborhoods only, and does not require you to publish personal information about yourself. It allows residents to talk to one another; offer pet sitting/babysitting, for sale notices, share news about suspicious persons in the area, etc. Members of the College Station police department and city planning committee are also on the platform providing an opportunity to have direct access to news and information that is very close to home. We highly recommend this.
